HOLD YOUR SPACE
Hey there, Eleanor here - owner, founder, and a teacher at Forth. We’ve been loving meeting so many new faces the past few weeks at the studio as well as moving with our friends since day 1. As seasons shift (as they always do), I’ve been taking a lot more restore classes - setting time and space for me to just focus on me. It’s really set me up with solid ground to withstand things I can’t control (hello construction).
We’ve got a lot of studio updates for you all, but before we get there - it is the season of gratitude, and I’m so very thankful to see everyone of you in our classes. Whether it’s trying something new, sticking to your routine, or creating new connections - that’s what Forth is all about. Everything is an experiment, our physical space is a vessel for you to explore connecting to yourself and others - and I’m so thankful for your courage, consistency, and willingness to do so.
What's Inspiring Our Team:
Andrea mentioned she “Recently rediscovered What Ya Waiting For by Gwen Stefani and its has been my lil affirmation song to get my day started all of this past week. And just started reading this book Women Loving Deliciously by Florence Given that has been inspiring to find the lil joys in every second!”
Erin said “I've been on a following spree on Substack. It's so much more fulfilling than social media lately! Some of my favorites are "The Audacity" by Roxanne Gay, "Hung Up" by Hunter Harris, and "Downtime" by Alisha Ramos”
Marina shared that “This past Saturday, I ran my first ultra-marathon, running 50 miles. As a long-time runner, I’ve been curious about going the *extra* distance and seeing what could happen. This week, I am deeply inspired by human potential. I was so grateful for my body and its ability to continue in difficult moments during this race. A mantra I repeated to myself (and often say during classes) is: allow it to be difficult and stay in it regardless. 50 miles taught me how non-linear these pursuits can be.”
