WHO WE ARE
We are a COMMUNITY who believe in the power of INTENTIONAL MOVEMENT, not only in a physical sense, but also in terms of stimulating our minds and igniting change within us.
ABOUT US
This is an open, loving, connected community that we invite you to actively join.
As teachers who instruct people what to do with their physical body, we believe that it is also our responsibility to supplement that physical instruction with working to develop a healthy mental approach as well. This is a space where we recognize the mind-body connection, in that physical movement interrelates with the mental state. We strive to create a place where through all our modalities, we recognize, celebrate, and work to improve that connection. Our four different modalities work towards this balance.
We also acknowledge that we learn, we grow, and we evolve like all other things in this world. If you have feedback please do not hesitate to reach out to further our evolution in serving our community.
We’re proud to be a finalist in the 2024 Chicago Reader Best of Chicago Awards for both Best Yoga / Pilates Studio and Best Exercise Class!
Our class modalities
We have four themes that inspire our movement: open, breathe, strengthen, and restore (you can learn more about those here).
BREATHE
Breathwork
RESTORE

OPEN

STRENGTHEN

WHAT we value
We know we are as strong as our community is inclusive, equitable, and diverse. We acknowledge that we are on native land, and land that has even more recently been gentrified - displacing communities in the more recent past. We are committed to investing back in the community and look forward to sharing updates as we get mobilized.
And very importantly, we do not tolerate hate towards another human including but not limited to: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry, anti-semitism, Islamophobia, age discrimination, and ableism.
Our Location
Come visit our space at 2871 N Milwaukee Ave in the Logan Square / Avondale neighborhood of Chicago.
how our community feels

I'm new to the studio but have had a great experience so far. Very friendly and helpful teachers and a local owner, Eleanor, that are all very intentional to get to know the students and be a part of the Avondale / Logan Square community. Looking forward to more classes

I recently attended my first class, and it was fantastic! The combination of strength poses and mindful breathing left me feeling powerful and centered. 10/10
