"New year, new you"
How many times have you heard "new year, new you"?
Truly, you always have the opportunity to begin again. Whether it's with a new month, new week, new day, or a new breath.
It's one thing to decide to begin again, it's another to commit. For me - I need methods of holding me accountable. Whether it's a daily checklist, a buddy with a similar commitment, or even some sort of investment. My 2024 resolution is to be more intentional about my commitments. This means for me being able to say a confident "no" in order to more fully show up to when I say "yes".
Do you have any resolutions? In what ways will you commit to them?
What’s Inspiring Our Team
Alan recently saw Joshua Evans speak at an event, and resonated with his quote “Find your purpose behind the effort”
Alyssa is currently going through the book Staying Healthy with the Seasons, and mentioned "it's interesting learning about the season of Winter and what is related to it from a Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective"
Alexis mentioned that "This month, my book club is reading communion by bell hooks. I am soaking in the essence and importance of chosen family and sisterhood, in all of its offerings. I think it’s the perfect read for December amidst increasing holiday gatherings and it’s an opportune time to make more space for all of the things and people that feel good."
Eleanor is usually not an Andrew Huberman kind of girl, but enjoyed his recent episode on mobility, posture, & flexibility
